Giving back is at the core of ColorProof’s brand values. Founders, Jim and Cheryl Markham, have always been committed to sharing their good fortune and supporting worthy causes near and dear to their hearts. ColorProof provides a brand new opportunity to give back and truly make a difference.
ColorProof proudly supports both local and national charities including City of Hope and Paul Newman’s special charity, SeriousFun Children’s Network, formerly known as Hole in the Wall Gang, to name a few.
One of the charities near-and-dear to the Markhams’ heart is City of Hope. As the 2009 City of Hope Spirit of Life® Award recipients, the Markhams continue to be committed to this commendable cause.
ColorProof was thrilled to be a major sponsor, of the star-studded fundraising event at Lincoln Center in New York City benefitting SeriousFun Children’s Network, formally known as the Association of Hole in the Wall Camps. Founded by Paul Newman, SeriousFun Children’s Network provides enriching experiences for over 30,000 seriously ill children annually. It was Paul’s belief that the joy of playing, laughing and simply belonging has a profound effect – freeing children to reach beyond their illnesses and discover new strength. The April event, entitled “A Celebration of Paul Newman’s Dream and hosted by Joanne Woodward, featured an all-star cast including performances and appearances by Paul Simon, Elvis Costello, Josh Groban, Trisha Yearwood, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, and Jake Gyllenhaal to name a few. The Markhams had the opportunity to meet with Woodward and her family and reminisce about their late dear friend, Paul. ColorProof donated $50,000 to the wonderful cause and looks forward to future opportunities to support Paul’s legacy and make a difference through SeriousFun.
